Bright start in east, but rain spreading from west. The rain becoming persistent and heavy at times especially Argyll. Windy with gales in exposed areas, severe over Tiree and Coll. easing theretowards evening.. Maximum Temperature 15C.

Cloudy with rain this evening, heavy at times, especially in Argyll, with strong southerly winds at first. Clearer, drier, less windy weather soon on west coast reaching all tonight. Minimum Temperature 8C.
