Remaining murky, with extensive low cloud and areas of fog thickening to bring a little light rain and drizzle in places. Temperatures mainly near average, with perhaps a local slight grass frost in any lasting clearer spells. Minimum Temperature 3C.

Damp, with extensive low cloud and areas of mist and fog. Most areas will stay rather murky throughout, although southern coastal districts may see some limited cloud breaks later. Mild. Maximum Temperature 8C.

A period of more settled weather then seems probable later next week, with a gradual recovery in temperatures to nearer average for the time of year, perhaps even mild. Beyond this, a fairly changeable picture is most likely although confidence in details is, as usual at this range, very low. Wettest/windiest weather in the north and west, whilst the south and east will probably remain more settled overall.
